Lending Library

The society keeps a lending library at the WSU Extension office, 17 SW Cascade Ave in Chehalis, WA. It holds field guides, ecology, cultivation, and cooking titles by well-known authors — the same references our members reach for while identifying their discoveries.

How to check out a book

  1. 1.Come to a monthly meeting — the library travels with us to the WSU Extension office.
  2. 2.Ask the librarian or any board member to sign a book out in the log.
  3. 3.Books check out for one month; renew at the next meeting if you need longer.
  4. 4.Return the book to the librarian at a meeting, or arrange a hand-off with a board member.

Borrowing is a membership benefit and free of charge. If a book is damaged or lost, let the librarian know so we can replace it.
